🌿 Bids That Build: The Ally Foundation’s First Online Auction!

We recently celebrated our fourth year of being in operation! What began as a small vision has evolved into a movement that has touched the lives of thousands.

To mark this milestone, we’re launching our first-ever online auction, “Bids That Build,” to raise funds toward establishing our very own center in North Carolina. Every bid helps lay the foundation for a space where we can continue growing our programs and organization! This auction will be held online starting from 12:00 PM ET on December 1st running all the way through to December 7th at 5:00 PM ET. We will have jewlery, custom art, gift cards, themed baskets, and more from local businesses and artists!

Here’s how it will work:

You can browse all our items by category or search for something specific. We’ll be using standard bidding, so you place one bid at a time, and if someone outbids you, you’ll get a notification.

Each item has either an auction-style starting price, where the highest bid wins, or a fixed “Buy Now” price. You’ll need to register with payment info before bidding.

When the auction ends, we’ll let the winners know. Once your payment is complete, we’ll either ship your item or arrange a pickup within 7 days. The whole auction is mobile-friendly, so you can bid from anywhere all week long!

🌍 Our Global Impact

West Africa: Built 30+ wells (32+ in Senegal, 1 in Guinea, and 1 in Liberia), providing clean water to entire villages.
Guinea: Constructed a masjid that now serves as a central hub for community prayer and connection.
Haiti: Built a pavilion that functions as a community center and school, providing education and support to families in need.
Guyana & Haiti: Sustained hundreds of families through clothing, meals, groceries, and essential care.

🏡 Our Local Impact (North Carolina)

Hunger Relief: Served over 10,500 meals to individuals experiencing homelessness in Fayetteville.
Education: Offer weekly ESL classes for around 30 refugees, helping them develop skills and build a sense of belonging.
Youth Engagement: Partner with local schools to provide supplies and promote community service.
Community Care: Adopted a highway in Fayetteville, maintaining it quarterly to keep our city clean and beautiful.

💚 Why We’re Building a Community Center

While we’ve accomplished so much without a permanent space, we know how much more we can do with one. A center will allow us to:

Store and organize donations more efficiently.
Host programs, classes, and community events in a safe, welcoming space.
Grow our volunteer base and expand outreach.
Create a true home for our ongoing and future initiatives.

This has long been our dream, and as we reach our four-year milestone, we believe it’s time to build something lasting for our community.

🎯 Our Auction Goal: $5,000

Our goal for the “Bids That Build” auction is to raise a minimum of $5,000 toward the down payment for our center. Every bid, no matter the amount, brings us one step closer to creating a permanent home for us!
