Bristow Park is New Canaan's Bird Sanctuary and Wildwood Preserve located in the center of our Town. Back in 1924, Bristow was the third privately founded Bird Sanctuary in the nation - a testament to the early spirit of conservation in New Canaan. Today, after an investment of over $1 million by the Town and the Friends of Bristow Park, this Bird Sanctuary has undergone an extensive restoration in preparation for the Centennial Celebration on Sunday, September 8th at 2pm.

This event and auction is a celebration of early conservation and bird habit management, as well as a fundraising moment to generate stewardship resources for the next 100 years.
