🥳 We are so excited! 🥳 Why?

On January 7, 2024, Studio 9 Dance Academy and the Company 9 Parent Committee will host our 9th Annual Benefit Concert, donating the proceeds to Kenzi’s Causes. In addition to showcasing our Company 9 dancers for friends and family, we've put together a silent auction to raise funds in support of this vital local organization.

Kenzi’s Causes was founded over 10 years ago by Coloradan Jessica Bachus after her daughter, Kenzi, was stillborn at 24 weeks. Overcome with grief, Jessica felt compelled to channel her emotions into something that would honor Kenzi’s memory. Jessica and her family began providing dolls to young girls during the holiday season who would otherwise go without.

It was in her own sorrow that she stabilized the hearts of others. Over a decade later, Jessica’s heartbreak has led to a breakthrough that can change the trajectory of struggling families in the Colorado area forever. The mission of Kenzi’s Causes is to support underprivileged children and their families by providing toys, food and more during the holidays; school supplies and clothing during the school year; and assisting families through community outreach, financial planning and professional support.

We've collected and curated a variety of products and services — from game night baskets and gift cards to local restaurants and breweries to dance-specific physical therapy, audition photography and much, much more — for this weekend's auction. Our hope is that you find something you love and make it yours while supporting Jessica and Kenzi's Causes.

Bidding is all digital this year and open to any C9 supporters, whether you can attend the Benefit Concert or not. So, please share this page far and wide. Then, get registered because the bidding opens Saturday, January 6, at 9 AM!

We can't forget the Raffle!

We've saved some of our donated items for our raffle, and some of our generous S9 teachers have donated their time in the form of private lessons. Want to give your dance some dedicated time with their favorite teacher? Looking to brush up on a certain style's technique? Just want to try your luck?! When you get to the showcase, scan the QR code to purchase your tickets (you can also pay cash), and drop one half into the raffle bowl, and keep yours handy. We'll announce the lucky winners throughout the show!
