Carrick Rangers FC is a proud supporter of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF), a non-profit organization whose mission is to prevent and cure breast cancer by advancing the world’s most promising research. Throughout the year, Carrick Rangers FC shows their dedication to breast cancer research through a variety of initiatives including, but not limited to, donating the prime front of jersey sponsorship for the Women's senior team, social media promotion of BCRF, merchandise sales, and supporter donation campaigns.

1 in 8 women will develop invasive breast cancer. In 2024, 310,720 women and 2,790 men in the US alone are expected to be diagnosed with breast cancer. Around 10,000 women in the UK under the age of 50 are diagnosed with breast cancer each year. This impacts virtually every person directly or indirectly.

BCRF is the largest private funder of breast cancer research—and metastatic breast cancer research—worldwide. This year, they are funding more than 260 scientists at leading academic and medical institutions across 15 countries, with 6 of these scientists based in the UK.

On October 12, 2024, Carrick Rangers FC will wear special edition pink jerseys in our Irish Premiership match vs Coleraine FC. These jerseys are being auctioned off with 100% of the auction price going to BCRF. The auction will be open until October 15 at 11:45 EDT. Winners will be contacted at the conclusion of the auction and can make their auction payment directly to BCRF. All bids and auction payments will be in USD.
