Kids who learn music have superpowers. They are persistent and resilient, they are critical thinkers and problem solvers, they possess deep empathy and make great teammates. They are committed to excellence and bring their best to every situation. They face each day with a positive attitude, collaborative spirit, and the skills to turn obstacles into opportunities. They take charge of and responsibility for their lives and are accountable for their actions. They take initiative and delve into projects with energy and resolve. They care for each other and leave no one behind. 

That's what we aim for through our music programs at ChiME. This is our dream: to inspire and empower students to become change-makers; to raise responsible, effective citizens, who will build a brighter future; and to make sure they enjoy the process along the way, whether they're making music solo or in a group.
