Northwest CLT Welcome Event & Silent Auction
Sunday from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM EDT
In Person
You are invited to attend and participate in Northwest CLT Corporation’s inaugural fundraising event on Sunday, October 8 th. This event will feature a silent auction of sculptured works by Germantown artist, Nancy-Ellen Churchville, private photography sessions, ballet tickets, and much more, along with other opportunities for you to contribute to NWCLT’s work. All proceeds from the event will go to Northwest CLT Corporation’s fund to acquire property on which to build its first multifamily affordable housing development project. NWCLT was formed 2 years ago in response to the housing affordability crisis in the Germantown/Mt. Airy section of Philadelphia. (See our website for more details: www.northwestclt.org.) Northwest CLT Corporation (NWCLT) is a federally tax-exempt charitable organization under §501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Our mission is to provide affordable rental and homeownership opportunities for low- and moderate-income people, while preserving the quality and affordability of these homes and apartments for future generations.
Story
Northwest Community Land Trust (NWCLT) sees itself as part of the human rights movement. Every true human rights movement is a people's movement. This means that people at the grassroots and people of goodwill at every level of society must take responsibility for the societal change they desire.
In NWCLT's case, our main human rights focus is on creating decent, affordable housing for low-and moderate-income people. This means we must engage people like you who are concerned about basic human rights for all people to help us accomplish our mission.
On this basis, we ask you to join us financially by contributing generously to our Fund for Affordable Housing. Your one-time gift of $10 will be much appreciated, but what will help our work most will be your decision to make a continuing monthly contribution of $10.
Your financial support, and that of your neighbors and friends, will power NWCLT forward in its mission to provide the basic human right of affordable housing for those who need it most.
