Mario Avila is a passionate supporter of children’s health and a proud celebrity dancer for Dancing for a Miracle, benefiting the Children’s Health Foundation. His commitment to the cause is deeply personal. As an infant, Mario’s son faced a life-threatening diagnosis of failure to thrive, a condition where his body was unable to properly process nutrients. After countless doctor visits and uncertainty, his son finally received the care he needed and went on to live a full, healthy life—now a husband, father, and proud parent to a baby girl of his own.
Having supported dancers behind the scenes in previous years, Mario is thrilled to take the stage himself this year. He is dedicated to raising as much as possible to help ensure other families across Oklahoma have access to the same life-changing care that made a difference in his own family’s journey.
