We're excited to host the 2024 Crushing Juvenile Diabetes Golf Tournament at the prestigious Wildwood Country Club on Monday, September 23, 2024, offering an afternoon of friendly competition, networking, and, most importantly, raising money for a great cause. All proceeds from the tournament will be donated to Camp Hendon.

Exciting Updates:

Our silent auction will now be accessible online, allowing bidding to commence two weeks before the tournament.
The Silent Auction and Cocktail Reception will be shifting to a one-day event, taking place immediately after the tournament finishes.

For the past 20 years, AHA Insurance Network has hosted a golf outing as an appreciation event for our agents and their hard work. Over the years, we have wanted to make this a more meaningful event and believe that, as responsible business owners, giving back to our community is important. In 2018, we began partnering with non-profit organizations and donating all proceeds from our silent auction.

When one of our AHA team member's eight-year-old daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, suddenly, we saw the need for programs helping children and families manage type 1 diabetes. We were then introduced to the team at Camp Hendon, and we knew we had found the perfect fit.

Camp Hendon is a nonprofit organization that doesn't promise a cure but provides support that makes life manageable until that cure is found through summer camps, family camps, teen retreat weekends, parent support groups, and more! Camp Hendon provides children with diabetes life-changing experiences, empowering them to take control of their unique journey.

For the past 56 years, Camp Hendon has provided children with Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) and their families with a community of support. Children can escape to Camp Hendon each summer, where everyone takes insulin, checks their blood sugar, and counts carbohydrates at meals and snacks. Camp Hendon serves hundreds of children as they learn to champion their illness and grow among peers that are just like them.

These events are charitable outings, and all donations are tax-deductible. Camp Hendon is a registered 501c3.
