Performer’s Story
I’m a Sarasota native and proud mom of three amazing girls—Eloise (10), Gwenyth (8), and Celia (5). Sarasota has always been home, and I love raising my family in the same community that shaped me. Professionally, I’m a Realtor with Coldwell Banker St. Armands/Longboat Key, where I’m honored to be in the top 4% of the company and the top 2% of realtors nationwide. If you love Sarasota as much as I do, be sure to follow along on YouTube and Instagram!
This competition has been such a joy because dance was once a big part of my life. I trained in jazz and ballet (not ballroom!), and it’s been decades since I’ve had the chance to dance. Stepping back onto the dance floor has allowed me to reconnect with a part of myself that hadn’t had an outlet in a very long time, and that has been incredibly rewarding.
Outside of the competition, I stay deeply involved in our community through volunteering at Southside Elementary, where my children attend school, and through my work with The Junior League of Sarasota. I also love talking about Sarasota to anyone who will listen. My happiest moments are spent with my kids and friends—especially if there’s a pool involved. All three of my girl's swim for the Tsunami Swim Team, and I’ve spent countless hours cheering them on from the sidelines. It’s been especially meaningful to switch roles for once and let them be the ones cheering for me.
I chose to participate in Dancing with Clayton’s Stars because several families in our Southside community have been touched by pediatric cancer, including the recent loss of “Mighty Robot Tiger” Lucas, who was a classmate of my daughter’s. His passing deeply impacted our school and reminded all of us how precious every child is.
In our home, we often talk about how one person—even one child—can make a meaningful difference, even when the challenge feels overwhelming. Participating in this fundraiser is my way of putting that belief into action. By showing up, raising awareness, and helping raise funds, I hope to make even a small difference for the children and families facing this unimaginable journey.
