I am a devoted wife, proud mom, and passionate volunteer, I finds joy in inspiring others, giving back, and creating spaces that bring people together. I am excited to dance in support of The ARK and Alzheimer’s awareness — a cause that reflects my lifelong commitment to community, compassion, and purpose. When I first moved here from Ghana, one of the many jobs i held was at an assisted living facility. Later, I was privately employed and began caring for a private family whose father was a retired politician. I looked after him for quite some time, and as his condition progressed, there were days he no longer recognized who I was. Some days were challenging — he would resist or become agitated — but I understood it wasn’t truly him; it was the disease. Watching such a strong and influential man slowly fade because of Alzheimer’s was heartbreaking. It opened my eyes to how deeply this illness affects not only those diagnosed but also the families who love them. That experience left a lasting mark on me, which is why I’m honored to dance in support of The ARK — to help raise awareness and stand with families touched by this devastating disease.
