Emerald Diamond International works to support and grow youth baseball organizations, by sharing resources, experience, and best practices. Through our work, more boys and girls around the world can play baseball.

Why Baseball?

Baseball provides endless opportunities for learning and growth. It teaches children the values of teamwork, sportsmanship, responsibility, and integrity while building self-esteem and promoting healthy choices through exercise and competition.

Irish Youth Baseball Program

Our Irish Youth Baseball program provides funding and coaching to youth baseball players and clubs in Ireland and Northern Ireland. The program includes a school-based program and an innovative partnership with GAA Rounders clubs.

Baseball in Irish Primary Schools

The school-based program teaches the basics of the game in physical education classes and afterschool clubs. Our program, delivered by our partners at Healthy Kidz, focuses on basic rules and gameplay, as well as the skills of hitting, catching, and throwing.

Partnership with GAA Rounders

Rounders is a game played throughout Ireland with the same basic rules and gameplay as baseball. By leveraging the common aspects of rounders and baseball, we can introduce baseball to more children. We work in partnership with GAA Rounders clubs to provide coaching and equipment.
