Hello everyone! As we go into the busiest intake request part of the year, we have been hit with termite damage at the Bungalow, and unfortunately the damage has reached beyond the walls and cannot be repaired. The Bungalow has served as our "ground zero" & primary foster location for the past 13 years. Demolition began this summer - all the habitats and cabinets, walls & roof are gone - just the floor is left as of October 2024.

Since the damage was discovered this spring, we have been researching local building companies, pre-fab buildings, etc., that can provide what we need. We have narrowed it down to a couple options. Our goal to get the concrete pad & building+awning started is $25-30,000 based on provided estimates, then we will need more to add insulation, run electricity, etc. We will of course be reusing as much as we can, such as the refrigerator, rolling cabinets, and of course exercise pens & air purifier.
