In the sea-side town of Edmonds, there is an extraordinary group of young dreamers known as Edmonds Heights Performing Arts (EHPA). This group isn't just any collection of students; they are passionate performers, visionary directors, and creative set designers, all united by a shared love for the arts. Despite their immense talent and dedication, there is one significant challenge they face—they are 100% self-funded.

Every year, these students and volunteers pour their hearts and souls into creating magical performances that transport audiences to different worlds. They rehearse in borrowed spaces, craft costumes from thrifted fabrics, and build sets with their own hands, often working late into the night. Their productions are nothing short of spectacular, a testament to what passion and hard work can achieve.

However, being self-funded means that every aspect of their productions depend on the generosity of the community. Ticket sales and prize drawings from each show are used for production costs but the funds raised are never quite enough to cover all their needs. Each year, the costs of costumes, props, sets, live musucians, auxillary instructors, and production rights grows, and the students find themselves spending more time fundraising than rehearsing.

This story isn't just about a student theater group; it's about the power of community and the belief in nurturing young talent.
