About Urban League of Kansas

Founded in 1954, Urban League of Kansas has been providing services to the Wichita community with a vision to facilitate economic self-reliance and an improved quality of life for urban communities through education, empowerment, and self-respect. Urban League of Kansas is focused on seven priorities, Strengthening Families, Safe Stable Housing, Financial Literacy, Health Equity, Education, Career and Workforce and Leadership and Civic Engagement. Our mission is to serve as a catalyst to Change Lives and Empower the Urban Community.

In 2024 Urban League of Kansas served more than 4,000 individuals through the numerous programs and services we provide. Help us serve the community in bigger ways by supporting our EOD Auction!
