The Ottawa Family Pride Fest, and the Ottawa Family Pride Fund, exist to provide resources for the LGBTQIA+ community, specifically Youth and families in the LaSalle County and surrounding areas in Illinois. The Ottawa Family Pride Fund collects donations all year, and then throws the Family Pride Fest every June. At the end of June every year, the Family Pride Fund presents Youth Outlook Ottawa Drop-In Center with a donation check. Our inaugural year, we were able to give them $5000!

The Ottawa Family Pride Fund is a 501c3 overseen by the Starved Rock Country Community Foundation, and we will continue to do what we can to ensure that Youth and Families in this area, and beyond, are seen, loved, and heard. Our Fund makes Youth Outlook our priority, because they make LGBTQIA+ Youth THEIR priority.

Our 2023 Pride Parade Grand Marshall was Mercury Stardust--she stayed all day, and then signed her parade chair so we could auction it off in our final fundraiser for the 2023 Youth Outlook donation. Remember to bid generously! Not only is this a REALLY cool item to have, but every dollar goes right to the Ottawa Family Pride Fund and helps us make sure the Ottawa Drop in Center is always around.
