Mission

The Environmental Sustainability Society (ESS) at DCI is dedicated to raising awareness and creating meaningful opportunities to take action against climate change. Our goal is to educate, inspire, and empower students to make a positive impact on our environment, within our school, and in the broader community. Through ESS, members participate in volunteer opportunities, connect with peers, and learn practical ways to live more sustainably. We also organize hands-on projects that benefit the planet, such as community cleanups, eco-friendly art projects, and partnerships with local environmental organizations.

Fundraising Needs

Through this auction, ESS aims to raise funds for future projects, including neighborhood clean-ups and partnerships with local elementary schools. In addition, we aim to support environmental organizations that have lost funding or are in need of assistance. Experiences like these also help teach our members about financial responsibility and literacy.
