The Friends of the Manning and The Manning Student Parent Council invites our Jamaica Hills neighbors to join an evening of art and music appreciation in our own backyard — see the artwork the Manning Elementary students, and hear the melodious sounds of our budding strings orchestra along with the Boston Music Project.

If you play an instrument, please bring it along for a casual community performance as well - Sweet Caroline will definitely be on the setlist! Click on the link for the sheet music (string quartet).

Special guests tentatively include MA State Rep Bill MacGregor and City Councilor Ben Weber (schedules permitting).

All funds raised will benefit the in school music program at The Manning Elementary which is provided by The Boston Music Project.

6 - 7 pm: Jazz Trio from Boston Music Project will be playing as you check in, get drinks, and view art work and auction items

7 pm: Welcome Remarks

7:15 pm: Strings performance from Manning Elementary students

7:30 pm: Community performance of Sweet Caroline

8 pm: Auction close
