Emcee: Debrena Jackson Gandy

An award-winning business owner, nationally published author, and transformational thought leader,

Debrena Jackson Gandy brings national perspective and community-rooted leadership to this milestone celebration.

She will be joined by EYFO’s Student Ambassador Co-Emcee, Jahnaia Shoecraft, reflecting the leadership

pipeline this event supports. Jahnaia has been part of the Empowering Youth & Families Outreach community since birth, participating in

programs including Wings of Eagles Track, EYFO Entrepreneurs, and the CEO College Readiness Program.

Reflecting on her journey, Jahnaia shared:

“EYFO has always been about making sure you have the resources and community you need to be your best self.”

Through these programs, Jahnaia gained lessons in leadership, financial responsibility, networking, and community service.

“The lessons of networking, caring about our community, and taking responsibility for our future are what shaped who I am today.”
