There is a natural ebb and flow to our lives. Somewhere between preparing for survival among the ebbs and learning to savor the flows, we find a place for recovery and hope.

Janet Speer is an ordained and endorsed healthcare chaplain and resiliency coach with a focus on palliative care. Her passion is helping people bring their heart and soul into all aspects of life and work. She works with interdisciplinary teams at Emory Healthcare and is an adjunct professor at Emory School of Nursing.

Janet is married to her high school sweetheart, Frank. They have two children, five grandchildren, and a spoiled Berniedoodle named Annie. Atlanta is home where she enjoys gardening, reading, writing, walking, yoga, discussions on faith/spirituality, and Friday night sushi dates with Frank. As much as she loves Atlanta, her heart is always at the beach.
