ABOUT ELLIEFEST:
We are excited to announce the 5th annual EllieFest golf tournament fundraiser and family fun day! Each year, The Sitzmann Family and DKTB host this event to honor the incredible life of their baby girl who tragically passed away from a viral infection when she was 12 days old in July 2019.

Since Ellie's passing, Eric & Holly Sitzmann, along with friends, family, and community members have banded together to establish a nonprofit organization in memory of their daughter. Don't Kiss the Babies (DKTB) is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt nonprofit organization whose mission is to advocate, educate, and support parents and families of newborns and young children in keeping them healthy and safe.

All proceeds from the fundraiser will be donated directly to DKTB to help in creating and distributing "New Parent Awareness kits" in our partner hospitals and clinics. When a family has a new baby, they will be given educational literature and other items to help raise awareness of the dangers of viral illnesses in newborn babies during the first few weeks of life. DKTB hopes to empower new parents to make informed decisions for their babies and provide support and guidance.

REGISTRATION:
This year's EllieFest golf tournament will be held at Prairie Links Golf Course in Waverly, Iowa on Saturday, August 17, 2024. The format will be a 4-person best shot and will include pin prizes. The cost of registration is $400 per 4-person team ($100/person). Each individual golf participant will receive:
- a meal
- golfer goody bag

Not a golfer? No problem! We're offering free non-golfer tickets as well if you just want to come and check out the silent auction, grab some new DKTB apparel from our merchandise table, play BINGO, partake in the 50/50 raffle, enjoy the live music or just relax and support a good cause. Kids are welcome and encouraged to come! We'll be offering a variety of kids activities, including a scavenger hunt and face painting! The “purchase” of a non-golfer ticket also includes a meal.

Registration will CLOSE on Sunday, August 4th, 2024 at 11:59 PM.

T-SHIRTS:
If you would like an EllieFest 2024 t-shirt, these will be available to purchase online and can be shipped to you (or you can pick-up locally) prior to the event. A limited supply of EllieFest 2024 t-shirts will also be available for purchase at the event. The information to order ahead of time will be shared soon.

If you’d like to reserve a t-shirt to pick up at the event, please reserve your size(s) in the comment section when you purchase your EllieFest tickets. (Our online store to purchase a shirt and have it shipped to you will be available soon!)
