In the heart of a quaint town, where close-knit families and businesses thrive and the echoes of shared stories resonate through its charming streets, there exists an opportunity for change. Sometimes, it's the smallest places that hold the greatest potential for transformation.

We are SMSU Enactus, and our team is from Marshall, a growing town of almost 14,000 people, in the southwestern corner of our great state of Minnesota. Our area is home to a thriving agricultural community, with fields of crops that span as far as the eye can see. Marshall sits as the seat of Lyon County, which has a population of over 25,000 people. With many of the people who live in the county making their way into Marshall, we become a major focal point of the region!

SMSU Enactus strongly believes in its mantra by DARING to make an impact through the development, implementation, and scaling of sustainability-based projects that address food insecurity and waste.

Our projects are positioned to be sustainable entities that make an impact long after we graduate. In addition, we are clearly addressing 11 sustainability goals and making a significant difference in our communities.
