FoodChain is thrilled to present the 6th Annual FEAST - a sell-out event for foodies like no other – which will be held on Wednesday, May 22^nd at the iconic Fasig-Tipton.

FEAST 2024, presented by Nancy Barron & Associates, will feature 25 acclaimed national and local female chefs, including talented vegan and gluten-free chefs, ensuring a diverse culinary experience for all dietary preferences. These celebrated culinary artists will be crafting delicious small plates, highlighting fresh, locally sourced ingredients, served alongside craft cocktails and mocktails, Kentucky bourbon (of course!), local beer, and wine. This will be a lively, casual mix and mingle evening of fun and fellowship with local music performances woven throughout the evening.

Proceeds from this event benefit FoodChain, a Lexington nonprofit founded in 2011, forging links between our community and fresh food through education and demonstration of sustainable food systems. FoodChain increases access to locally sourced, fresh food for everyone with our urban aquaponics farm, food literacy education programs, and direct food access.

Since opening in 2011, FoodChain has provided over 1 million meals to the community, and invested over $1,200,000 into our local food economy. Our Education & Outreach programming has provided over 63,000 hours of educational content to our community in classes and workshops . With your support, FoodChain can continue building a better tomorrow with innovative education and increasing direct access to locally grown, whole foods for everyone in the community.

2024 is gearing up to be a bigger year in every way- we will have more chefs, music from amazing local artists including Senora May and Joslyn & The Sweet Compression, as well as auction items, and FEAST attendee exclusive swag that will be a priceless collectible.

As FoodChain's impact grows, so does FEAST. This year, we're particularly excited about leaning into the founding of our Neighborhood Green Grocery, a community space on the northside of Lexington offering tiered food purchasing options. This initiative celebrates the area's diversity while addressing one of its largest USDA food deserts.
