We will have one spot at Alcott and one spot at Paterson designated with a United Way Auction Winner sign. The spots will be auctioned one month at a time. March through December, the first day of the month to the last day of the month. You are able to bid on multiple months.

Auction payment will be done through payroll deduct or check/cash. Arrangements must be made within 7 business days of the end of the auction or next person will be selected.

Many of our FHC family members and patients have benefited from the services that United Way provides. Some of the protections that were put in place during the pandemic have expired. And even before these changes, more than 1 in 3 households in our region struggled to afford basic needs like food, housing, and child care. The Family Health Center’s United Way campaign can help make a difference. Your gift ensures that families can find help when they need it most. Together, we have the opportunity to impact people right here in our own community.

When donating to United Way you have the option to select a designation for your contribution. For this event ALL proceeds for this auction will be donated directly back to United Way with a designation to go to Ministry with Community.

Ministry with Community is a daytime shelter and resource center in Kalamazoo, Michigan. That is open 365 days per year to anyone who needs our services, including those experiencing homelessness, poverty, substance use disorder, and other crises.

Drop in services include a meal, shower, laundry, Personal Hygiene Items, Lockers, Phone use, Internet access, Mail, and other personal needs. They also provide social work services that include crisis intervention, recovery support, and much much more.
