Our playground, which has served hundreds of children for the last two decades, unfortunately decayed to an unsafe standard. We
are now responsible for replacing that playground structure, and
addressing the concrete and landscaping needs of our shelter area.
Providing
respect and decency for the families in our shelter has always been our
calling, and nowhere is that more important than in the lives of our
children. While experiencing homelessness can be traumatic, we aim to
make each child in our shelter feel 'at home' even when they don't have
one of their own. Our playground is a catalyst for community, and it
provides a sense of normalcy for our families. Help us create a space
that will serve our community over the next 30 years!

Mercy House is a local non-profit that provides shelter for families with children and other programs that help to combat poverty and homelessness in our community. By providing comprehensive, trauma informed supportive services, we help to empower our clients to build a better future for themselves and their children. Utilizing a strengths based approach, we work to assist our clients in stabilizing their lives, finding employment, and ultimately restoring them to long term housing.
