We invest in the next generation of leaders and support the non-profits that champion them. We do this by channeling our communities’ shared passion for music, baseball and service to create college and career opportunities and a future of possibilities for under resourced young people and their families.

Our Signature Program

Our partners are boldly changing the game for urban youth and through these organizations, we identify our Peter Gammons & Linh Brehmer College Scholars, exceptionally talented young people who are overcoming the odds and have big dreams for college and a bright future. Our Scholars receive tuition grants, leadership training, internship support and mentors who are personally invested in helping them achieve success. We are proud of our 99% Scholar College Graduation Rate!

Our Story

During 2005 Red Sox Spring Training, twin brothers Theo and Paul Epstein came up with a way to harness the goodwill of Boston Red Sox fans, jubilant from their first World Series Championship in 86 years, to enrich the community for the greater good. Knowing the deep divide between those who have a lot and those who don’t, they started an organization to support urban youth and families and called it Foundation To Be Named Later, a playful nod to the Major League Baseball Trade Term: Player To Be Named Later.

Our Signature Event - Hot Stove Cool Music

Theo and Paul teamed up with MLB Baseball Hall of Fame journalist Peter Gammons who, along with a team of baseball and music All-Stars, had been organizing the Hot Stove Cool Music benefit concert since 2000 which is held every year in Boston and Chicago and has featured headliners including James Taylor, Eddie Vedder, Mavis Staples, Liz Phair, Steven Tyler, Tom Morello, Buddy Guy, Steven Tyler, Yo-Yo Ma, Johnny Rzeznik, Cheap Trick and many more including talented, big hearted MLB Legends.
