WE'RE HERE TO CREATE A BETTER SOLUTION

The number of children in the Texas foster care system suffering from severe emotional trauma remains high. The average time in care for these children is over three years with many youth aging out of the system before receiving the treatment they need. J’s House is dedicated to finding a new way to meet the physical and emotional needs of these children, reduce their time in the system, and prepare them for a forever family.

J’s House will serve as a 24-hour group home providing critical stabilization and treatment services for boys who need more intensive therapeutic care. Our programs will be based on industry best practices such as Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TRBI) and the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI). Treatment performance will be measured by tangible results such as reduced behavioral incidents, care-level progression, and long-term placements.

J’s House believes YOU, our local community of individuals, families, churches, businesses, and other foster organizations, are what will make J’s House most impactful to those it serves. Together, we can provide the abundance of love and resources needed to set these children on a new path of peace and hope.
