Friday, March 24th Alumni Reception at local establishment (7:00pm) * Saturday, March 25th Golf Tournament held at Ravens Nest Golf Course (8:00am - 12:00pm) * Crawfish Boil held at Kappa Alpha Mansion (12:30pm - 4:00pm) * Housing Corp Reception held at Bonnie's Hideout across from Fox (6:00pm - 10:30pm)
Story
In 1959 the Social Clubs of Sam Houston Teachers College began to look to affiliate with Greek Counterparts. The Raven Social Club found Kappa Alpha Order to be a natural fit with their motto of Military, Christianity and Chivalry. They began their Fall rush in 1959 representing themselves as Kappa Alpha and on March 5, 1960, they were officially chartered as Gamma Tau Chapter of Kappa Alpha Order with 28 initiates.
