Great Lakes Bay Animal Society (GLBAS) is excited to host the Play for Paws event at the Saginaw Club in downtown Saginaw on Saturday, Oct 17th. Play for Paws is a euchre tournament, a display of local artwork and a silent auction all under one roof. It is also an opportunity for the greater Saginaw community to visit The Saginaw Club and get a tour while supporting a good cause at the same time.

Great Lakes Bay Animal Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, all-volunteer companion animal rescue organization. From intake to adoption, our rescue animals’ needs are responded to with compassionate foster care, skilled veterinary care, vaccinations and spay or neuter procedures. Animals that come into the GLBAS foster program are often from community members reaching out to us for assistance. Our goal is to help as many of these local animals as possible. Every year the requests coming to GLBAS from our community to rescue animals continues to increase as does the cost of veterinary care. As a result, GLBAS must raise funds throughout the year in order to serve our community and the animals that deserve our assistance.
