Thank you for your support of the Friends of the Great Plains Nature Center, the 501c3 partner at the Great Plains Nature Center!

For over 25 years, we have been bringing free, local, immersive- and fun!- nature education and STEM programs to our community. And we are so excited to announce this new way to support our mission of inspiring students to get outdoors, build life-long skills like hard work and creativity, and become stewards of our native Kansas ecosystems.

Last year, nearly 300,000 people visited the Great Plains Nature Center and its Wichita Wild Habitat area trails in Chisholm Creek Park, proving how central we are to this community. In our Linking Students to Nature programming, our staff Naturalists reached over 30,000 students of all ages last year alone, through hundreds of educational and community programs at hundreds of schools around our region. We're proud to say this was a perfect 25th year.

Together, we are investing in future generations of Kansans by uniting individuals and community-minded organizations to inspire stewardship of the natural world.
