The Right Step Inc. is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit adaptive riding and horsemanship program with the mission of improving the lives of humans through the immeasurable power of horses. We teach children and adults with disabilities how to ride and interact with horses. We also have ground-based programs for veterans and residents of assisted living centers. Clients gain confidence, self-esteem, and physical strength from the unconditional love that is shared with our horses.

The Right Step is hosting our 2nd annual Gallop to Give Fundraising Gala at History Colorado Center, 1200 Broadway, Denver, CO 80203 on July 26, 2025, from 5:30-9 pm. The proceeds will support our horses’ daily needs and provide scholarships for our clients. Come to learn more about how our organization helps so many people. During our gala, you will enjoy a live auction with items including those shown below: original paintings of Chiclet and Fredbob, and a 7-night stay at an Airbnb in Sonoma, CA. The auction will be hosted by renowned Denver auctioneer, Gary Corbett. There will also be a paddle raise where your donations will go directly towards the needs of our horses and clients.
