The Granby Elementary PTA in the Worthington School District is a not-for-profit organization that provides valuable resources to the community and its school, students, and faculty. We sponsor several events to bring the Granby and Worthington communities closer together and raise funds for school activities and supplies to help enrich our children's education. A few examples of our contributions include:

STUDENT EVENTS – In 2024-25 the PTA spent over $17K

Provided funding for the Granby Garden, an outdoor learning garden and classroom.
Funded the Roller-Skating Unit for all K-5 students during PE
Sponsored several events including Bingo Night, Granby’s Multicultural Night, Science Fair, Reflections Arts Program & Fun Day (to name a few).
Supported funding for library books, art, music, and PE classroom supplies.

TEACHER SUPPORT – We provided over $11K

Last year we were able to provide all our teachers with a monetary allowance to help cover the cost of supplies and equipment for their classrooms. Additionally, mini grants were available for larger purchases by our staff.

FAMILY CARE – We gave over $1,000

We proudly provide scholarship funding for WKHS graduates, Senior Tea, headphones for use at school, and Granby families in need.

To help fund these items and events, each year, the Granby Elementary PTA hosts "Gator Game Night", a family friendly carnival with prizes and a silent auction. This year’s Gator Game Night Silent Auction will start on Friday, March 13th, 2026. Gator Game Night will be on March 20th at 6 PM at Granby Elementary, and the silent auction will close at 7:00 PM. All items will be available for pick-up at Gator Game Night at Granby Elementary on 3/20/26. There will be another opportunity to claim items on 3/22/26. No items will be shipped this year. All sales are final.

The silent auction includes goods and services donated by parents, teachers, and local businesses. The event draws in hundreds of students and their families. Not only is the silent auction always very popular, it is also our biggest fundraiser of the year raising thousands of dollars to support our PTA's mission.
