Gilead Chicago is a queer storytelling bar church centered on Chicago’s far north side — a community that makes beautiful creative worship together, throws great parties and makes real friends, and tells true stories that save lives.

Throughout August 2023 we’re auctioning off our skills and our stuff to raise money to make new, creative, inclusive church happen. We like to say that we’re not for everyone, but we might be for you. And the same holds true for our auction items. They’re queer af, irreverent or just odd, and imbued with a DIY ethos to their core — just like us. We hope that you’ll head over to the auction tab to see what in the catalog calls out to you that you might not have thought to look for and that you share the link with anyone you know who might be searching for something that we’ve got. We’re deeply grateful for your donations, for you spreading the word about this auction, and for everything else you do to make Gilead happen!
