Join us for a night of fun, live music, and community building at our first annual fundraiser! We welcome Sarah Roberts families, staff, neighbors, and community members! It is a public event for all to join us in building our school community. Go Huskies!

In September, the new Sarah Roberts Elementary School celebrated its official ribbon cutting, following the merger of the former Philbrick and Sumner school communities. The school is home to over 700 K-6 students inside the fully renovated former Irving Middle School building. The proud story of Sarah Roberts is one of social and educational justice and rooted in our school core values.

There are both opportunities and challenges that come with launching a new school. This is a significant transition that requires wide community support and collaboration to nurture an amazing learning environment for our students to learn and grow. We appreciate the support of our parents and community in continuing to support our young scholars!

Join us! Tickets are free and for purchase, with option to provide a meaningful additional contribution of your comfort level.

Doors open at 6pm. Grab a drink and dinner, mingle and work the dance floor, move through photo booths and activity stations, before hearing from our school & community speakers starting at 7pm, debate over many auction items and outbid your friends. Live band entertainment will continue through 9pm, with a pause at 8pm for a last call for our silent auction. Dress comfortably and bring your dancing shoes!

Caregiving arrangement updates: Four staff members from the Parkway Community YMCA will facilitate arts & craft tables and games for kids, and three members from the Roslindale Championship Series (RCS) will run video game groups. Sarah Roberts students, their siblings, and SRS staff children are welcome. Please purchase child tickets in advance.

Ticket sales support vital enrichment activities, engaging educational excursions, classroom resources, and much more for our children and families. All funds raised will go towards School Year 26/27. All donations will directly benefit the school with no administrative feed and are tax deductible through the Friends of the Sarah Roberts Elementary School Inc 501c3 EIN: 39-3117967.
