New Mexico United plays their first-EVER home playoff match on Sunday, November 3rd! And in true New Mexico United fashion, we are bringing art and sport together with our Matchday Masterpieces! Bid on these one-of-a-kind pieces that are being painted LIVE at Rio Grande Credit Union Field at Isotopes Park throughout the match! Llamame Posa (INSTAGRAM)

I'm a 25-year-old mixed media artist based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, creating since I could hold a pencil! My work blends figure drawing and futuristic realism, focusing on single subjects with vibrant, mixed-color grades. Originally an oil painter, I soon discovered spray paint, and it’s been my go-to ever since. My creative pursuits go beyond fine art—I screen print and apprentice in apparel design, keeping my income rooted in artistic passion. Though self-taught, my drive to create is unstoppable. You’d have to lock me up to keep me from making art porque soy fuerte, and I’m ready for all the chingasos life sends my way.

Andres Chavez (INSTAGRAM)

My name is Andres Chaves, and I was born and raised in Albuquerque. My painting is inspired by the fans of United, who bring incredible energy and play a huge role in motivating the players to score. I love the diversity of the crowd; it’s clear that everyone feels welcome to be themselves, and the vibe is unmatched!

Every game I’ve attended has been a great experience. It’s exciting to see how talented the team truly is. I played varsity soccer as a midfielder at Valley High School, so I’ve always enjoyed both playing and watching the game. I really appreciate what United is doing for the city, creating something meaningful that brings people together—whether it’s through art, inspiring others to play, or simply making the game a fun experience for all.

Nazario Sandoval (INSTAGRAM)

I’m a New Mexico native from Las Cruces, and I’m an abstract visual artist and muralist. For the past four years, I’ve been involved in the Art/Sport program with New Mexico United, collaborating on various projects, including live painting, community workshops, mural projects in schools, and initiatives with youth organizations.

Most recently, I painted a mural in the United office, and I cherish the opportunity to work alongside an organization that is deeply committed to both the community and local artists. As an avid fan and season ticket holder, I look forward to many more years of collaboration and creativity.
