PTA is mixing it up with a cool new event this year-- The Hawthorne Elementary Silent Disco, and we feel INSPIRED! They have graciously allowed us to piggyback on their event to kick off a mini pop-up Auction! We present to you our 2026 Hawthorne Spring Beats and Bids, featuring anything we got left on the shelves -- several remaining super cool opportunities to be your favorite teacher for the day during our annual Kids Rule the School Event (taking place this year on May 12th), several COVETED Hawthorne perks for the 2026-2027 School Year (1st in line in carpool, reserved parking for afterschool events, etc), and a few items from local sponsors that may be updated here and there throughout the week (gotta keep it fresh)!

Let your kids dance the evening away while you do some light online shopping, or some heavy competitive bidding! Auction opens Saturday, 4/25 when the Silent Disco begins, and closes a week later on Saturday, May 2nd at 4pm. Happy bidding and help us finish our fundraising for the year strong!

Click the "Register to Bid" button on the right. Enter requested info.
For each category, don't forget to click "View all items" to make sure you see all the items in each category

Projects

Recurring and upcoming projects include providing better classroom materials and professional development for teachers, Green initiatives organizing recycling efforts school-wide, and school grounds' projects (such as reviving the blacktop and basketball areas, adding more outdoor art murals and adding more outdoor student tables/seating), as well as conversion of our school from STEM certification to STEAM certification, with the addition of a collaboration with the Alliance theater. New partnership with Alliance Theatre (This is was our fund-a-need from the Fall Auction, and the students are LOVING IT! Our partners from the Alliance Theatre transform how students experience learning by turning abstract concepts into something they can see, hear, and feel. Instead of relying only on text or lecture, actors bring lessons from their classrooms to life through storytelling, movement, and dialogue—making content more engaging and easier to understand. For students of different learning styles, or with English as a second language, this approach is especially powerful! We'd love to continue this effort again next year!)
