If you’re not already familiar with this amazing organization, there are a lot of details I could share with you, like it costs only about $10k per year to run a small charity operation that literally changes girls lives in the middle of a poverty stricken area in Kisumu, Kenya. Or, how these folks provide basic art and school supplies, books, menstrual supplies, OTC medications, and other necessities. They also set up computer training, arrange for clinic visits, and provide basic first aid care to anyone who needs assistance. The Board officers do all travel and work for the organization on their own time and dime. No one is paid except the staff at the learning center in Kenya.
