Helping Our Women (HOW) is the trusted resource organization for all women on the Outer Cape. It offers personalized outreach support to 320 client members annually, empowering them to take control of their healthcare, well-being, and diverse needs by connecting them to services, benefits, community partners, and health and wellness education.

From 2023-2024, Helping Our Women’s Impact included:

884 rides to healthcare and wellness appointments
1,1442 food pantry visits, deliveries and gift cards
$157,010 in stipends to ease the burdens of living with chronic health conditions
4,560 outreach visits and referrals to community partners, including personalized needs assessments
Opening of the Ann Maguire Women’s Wellness Center in Eastham, bookending HOW’s service area to ensure all women have opportunities to participate in preventative health and wellness programs and experience social connection

To do all this…it takes a community. HOW’s community is rich with compassion, support, and trust and includes client members, volunteers, staff, partners, and donors. Together, with your help, we can make a difference.
