The 2025 LC Bird Engineering Gala will celebrate over 20 years of inspiring the next generation of engineers in our community, while also looking to the future by raising funds to support current students.

Robohawks 346 has been providing STEM opportunities at L.C. Bird for 25 years and has a rich history of success. Our team consists of approximately fifty students and about a dozen mentors. Each year the team builds a large robot from scratch to compete in tournaments in the area with the goal to make District Championships and ultimately the World Championships in Houston, Texas. Last year was a banner year: we won both of our regional competitions, finished second at Districts and made it to the World Championships.

Success in competition is not the only part of Robohawks 346 mission; the team aims to inspire students to become the next generation of leaders and innovators by teaching them the core values of FIRST: teamwork, leadership and gracious professionalism.

The costs to field a team is more than $30,000 annually, and fundraising is a constant endeavor. The team works tirelessly to excel both on the field of play, in the classroom and in the community. Robohawks 346 appreciates the opportunity to be considered for your donation.
