Each year, the Optimist Club of West Bloomfield distributes gifts, winter jackets, and food baskets to local families who are in need of a helping hand during the winter season. This West Bloomfield Optimist tradition has been carried on for over 35 years! This year, the West Bloomfield Fire Department will host our gift wrapping event, and helps us to gift the coats, toys and food to an estimated 71 families in our community. The Optimists partner with the Keego Harbor Jacket Club as well as guidance counselors in the West Bloomfield School District to pair up with the families who could use that extra bit of joy and winter cheer. 🎄❄️ Because of you, these children and their families will receive a little extra warmth and support this season 🙏

The Optimist Club of West Bloomfield is one of nearly 1,600 clubs that comprise Optimist International. We are a service organization attending to our local community in West Bloomfield, Michigan. Funds raised throughout the year serve to offer youth in our community opportunities to be recognized, to win scholarships, to learn how to be good community citizens, and to respect law.

Official Club Meetings are held 2x each month, every 1st & 3rd Tuesday @ 07h30 located at All Seasons of West Bloomfield (5600 Drake Road West, Bloomfield, MI 48322). Come attend a meeting to hear a speaker and learn more about who we are!

Informal Weekly Breakfasts occur each Friday morning @ 07h30 or 08h00, alternating between various local cafés/diners.

We welcome guests to join us as at any weekly Friday breakfast in the community, or as a first-time visitor at a Tuesday Club Meeting.
