Spreading Hope Since 2021

Arrows in the Sky began with a calling—one that came from the heartbreaking loss of our sweet baby, Poppy.

I remember sitting in our pastor’s office, weeping, clutching Loved Baby by Sarah Philpott, and saying through tears, “More people need this. More people are walking through the loss of their babies, and they need to feel seen.”

It was a silent hurt—the kind of pain so many people never see. There was no baby for others to hold or meet, but as a mother, you love your baby from the moment you know they exist. You imagine who they’ll become. You picture a future with them. And when that future is suddenly gone, the grief is very real—even when the world around you doesn’t always recognize it.

That pain became a calling, and eventually, that calling became Arrows in the Sky.

In our first year, we ministered to just three families. At the time, I wondered if maybe the need wasn’t as great as I had believed. I didn’t yet fully understand what God had ordained for this ministry—or just how many families were silently carrying these stories.

Today, we know differently.

In 2026 alone, Arrows in the Sky has walked alongside more than 750 families navigating pregnancy and infant loss, pregnancy after loss, primary and secondary infertility, and pregnancy after infertility.

Seven hundred and fifty families. Seven hundred and fifty stories. And behind every number is a mother, a father, a baby, and a family who deserves to know they are seen, their story matters, and they do not have to walk this road alone.

That is why we gather for Hope in the Silence.

Every donation, every bid, every sponsor, and every person who shows up helps us continue stepping into the places that can feel unbearably lonely—and reminding families that there is hope, even in the silence.

What began with Poppy continues to reach families far beyond anything we could have imagined in 2021.

And we believe the journey is just beginning.

Because if not us, then who?
