The evening is dedicated to celebrating the impact that investing in just one girl can create a ripple effect that transforms families, communities, and even generations. Building a culture of empowerment for young women to thrive.

When you support PEARLS, girls and gender-expansive youth are supported, the impact extends far beyond the individual. These girls often become role models, advocates, and leaders within their families and communities. Investing in them creates a ripple effect of positive change, influencing generations to come.

An investment in PEARLS is an investment in hope, opportunity, and life-long thriving for the girls we serve.

Our programs help girls meet the opportunities, excitement, and challenges of adolescence with essential social-emotional competencies that will serve them throughout their lives: self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, healthy relationships, and responsible decision-making.

The talents and potential of the girls we serve are boundless. We help them recognize and develop those opportunities and to build skills for life. When the challenges they face also seem boundless — poverty, racism, childhood trauma, broken family relationships, and social upheaval — we help them gain a sense of their own agency and make choices to control their own lives. PEARLS girls learn to define themselves, believe in themselves, seek and receive help, and set and achieve goals.

Our goal is to raise $350,000.

With this investment we can provide girls with a community of positive peer support and caring, trusted adult mentoring even as school budget constrictions are stripping away other supports. Dreaming about the future is a right, not a luxury, and all young people should have a path to get there. We appreciate your consideration of our request for support.
