Argenta Contemporary Theatre was founded in 2010 by Vincent Insalaco and the late Judy Tenenbaum — originally named the Argenta Community Theater. ACT has made a name for itself as a destination for semi-professional, local theater.

The vibrant and growing performing arts education program at ACT is a cornerstone of creativity and inclusivity, ensuring that no child is ever turned away due to an inability to pay tuition. Offering full and partial scholarships, the program serves over 2,500 students year-round, with camps and classes spanning from kindergarten to adults. Our offerings include not only traditional classes but also student Lunch and Learn Matinee Performances, providing a rich, immersive experience in the arts. We are dedicated to growing and expanding this program to reach even more aspiring artists, and funds raised through our silent auction will be used to hire talented staff, supply essential materials, and provide additional scholarships, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to explore and develop their artistic talents.
