In 2025, JLA’s volunteer Board of Directors had a bright idea: Jackson Lake needed more reasons to gather, celebrate, and have a little fun together. A small group of members pulled up chairs around a dining room table, ideas started flowing, and just like that—Denim & Diamonds was born.

The vision was simple and sparkling: an unforgettable evening where lake friends and neighbors could dress up (or dress down in denim), enjoy a delicious dinner, dance the night away, and celebrate their shared love of Jackson Lake—all while supporting JLA’s mission to foster a positive, welcoming lake community.

The inaugural event sold out and delivered in every way. Guests struck a pose at the photo wall, discovered new adventures like wake surfing and air-chair riding, explored fresh golfing opportunities, booked wellness appointments, and even snagged future Airbnb getaways. The energy was high, the laughter was plentiful, and the memories were unforgettable.

By the end of the night, one thing was clear—Denim & Diamonds was here to stay. Before the music faded, JLA Board members were already hearing the same request again and again: “Let’s make this an annual tradition!”
