The ACBA Foundation is hosting a silent auction that will take place in a hybrid format for online bidding as well as in person bidding as part of the ACBA Holiday Party on Thursday, December 12, 2024. The funds raised from this auction will be donated to CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate).

The mission of CASA is to improve the lives of children and youth who have experienced abuse, neglect, or other life challenges, by connecting them with volunteer advocates and activating community partnerships. We recruit, train and support CASA volunteers who serve as dedicated advocates, guiding these children through the complexities of a turbulent system, and ensuring their best interests are always at the forefront. By connecting children and youth with caring adults, we strive to promote positive child development and help shape their lives. These volunteers establish meaningful connections with children, engaging in activities such as home visits, interactions with teachers and school counselors, taking them on community outings, and facilitating transportation to appointments and visits. CASA volunteers observe children in their environments and compile crucial information to offer informed recommendations and insights to judges and decision-making professionals. Their advocacy is instrumental in shaping the trajectory of a child's future, emphasizing the child's best interests. Last fiscal year, 89% of Advocates for Children CASA's revenue was spent directly supporting our nearly 1,200 children, youth, and programs. For more information, please visit www.adv4children.org.
