Since 1989, El Jolgorio Navideño has been providing Boston with a special and necessary community space to celebrate Latino cultural traditions and leadership. Since 2014, the Talented And Gifted Association, Inc. has been proud to produce the largest, most anticipated Latino holiday celebration in New England. El Jolgorio will be an unforgettable night where we will pay tribute to Latino leadership, enjoy delicious cuisne, build community and dance while we raise funds for necessary, culturally sustaining programming in Boston. The TAG Association, Inc. (TAGa) is a MA 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that proudly serves the Latino/e community of Greater Boston. TAGa’s mission is to elevate the Latino community through education, art and culture. To that end, TAGa supports and produces culturally and linguistically sustaining educational and community development initiatives that have a proven transformative impact.

A Latina-led and Latino-focused organization, TAGa endeavors to become obsolete by achieving a Greater Boston with a thriving, educated, engaged, and culturally intact Latino community. While maintaining this important Latino cultural and artistic event is, in and of itself part of our mission, we also aim to raise dollars through El Jolgorio Navideño to support TAG Association's community and educational initiatives. TAGa partners closely with the TAG Latino Program of UMass Boston, which has provided a culturally sustaining pipeline to post-secondary education for Latino/e students since 1985. We engage our expansive network of alumni and friends to support TAG scholars and important community development projects, such as the Boston Desegregation Mobile Museum.
