Stowe Kids Give is a kid-led, volunteer-only initiative to raise awareness and funds for causes that matter to the next generation. In 2024, a team of six kids (ages 10-11) is helping the community learn about the Stowe Land Trust, a member-supported nonprofit in Stowe, Vermont, dedicated to conserving local land and waters to enhance the quality of life.

Harper Jones, Theo Gaines, Olivia Gabriel, Nora Rogers, Camille Underwood, and Gabriel Letorney are raising awareness and funds for the Stowe Land Trust. As part of their efforts, they are launching a Givebutter Campaign with an auction and an ice-skating holiday event at the Stowe Arena in Stowe, Vermont.

Started in 2023 by 10-year-old Gabriel Robert Letorney, Stowe Kids Give is an initiative that brings together kids (17 and under) who want to make a difference, help important causes, and learn how to fundraise and support non-profits.

Every year, kids spend 3 to 4 weeks learning about a non-profit organization they care about, raising money for it, and planning a special event to help out. First, kids meet with the organization's leader to learn about its mission and what it does. Next, they ask local businesses to donate items for an auction or raffle. Then, they share what they’ve learned with family, friends, and neighbours to raise awareness and money for the non-profit. They also practice speaking at community meetings, school events, and other gatherings to help support the organization even more.

All fundraising happens through GiveButter.com. Cash or check donations go directly to the selected 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. In 2024, Harper Jones, Theo Gaines, Olivia Gabriel, Nora Rogers, Camille Underwood, and Gabriel Letorney are raising awareness and funds for the Stowe Land Trust. In 2023, the then Stowe Kids Give team, led by London Coseno, Harper Jones, and Gabriel Letorney, raised over $4500 for the North Country Animal League.
