We are thrilled to have you to The LIAM Foundation’s Third-Annual Gayla Fundraiser. Our “Enchanted Garden” theme promises a magical evening filled with community, celebration, and support for the LGBTQ+ community.

FAQ's:

1. Will there be parking available?
Yes, Cliffbreakers Event Center offers ample parking for our guests at no additional cost. Please use the middle entrance located between the hotel entrance and the entrance with the green awning. This will lead you directly into the event space and help direct the flow of traffic so we can get everyone checked in smoothly.

2. Is there a cash bar?
Yes, there will be a cash bar available throughout the evening for you to enjoy a variety of beverages.

3. Can I purchase additional tickets for friends or family?
Absolutely! You can purchase tickets at https://givebutter.com/c/L124B4 until Monday, November 4, 2024.

4. How does the Silent Auction work?
Our silent auction will feature a range of exciting items and experiences. Bidding will take place from 6:00 PM until 10:00PM, so make sure to check out the tables early and often!

5. What is the dress code?
We encourage Formal, Semi-Formal, or Cocktail attire with your own twist on the “Enchanted Garden” theme! Feel free to explore Themed, Fantasy, or Festive looks that bring out the Magical, Mystical, or Enchanted side of the night. Think Garden elegance, Forest-inspired details, or Blooming floral accents—whatever helps you embody the spirit of the evening. Above all, come dressed in what makes you feel comfortable and ready to enjoy this memorable night of celebration!

6. What are the Drag Show details?

Our evening will feature a dynamic drag show, adding to the magic and celebration of the night. Get ready to be entertained by our talented performers! Our Drag Show Host, Auntie Heroine, the star of The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula, will bring glamour, artistry, and energy to the Gayla stage! Tips for the performers are welcome and encouraged throughout the show, as they contribute directly to supporting their incredible talent and dedication.

7. What will the funds raised be used for?
All proceeds from the Gayla will directly support LIAM's essential programs, empowering LGBTQ+ individuals across Northern Illinois. Your generosity will help us continue providing financial assistance for those facing housing or food insecurity, medical support for LGBTQ+ individuals navigating healthcare and mental health needs, and resources for transgender and gender-diverse individuals during their transitions. Additionally, these funds support our ongoing peer-led support groups, and community-building events, which offer safe spaces and strengthen connections within our LGBTQ+ community.

8. What are food options?

Our Enchanted Garden Menu is designed to delight every palate, offering a variety of flavorful and beautifully presented options. Guests can enjoy stations featuring hearty selections like carved meats and a whipped potato bar, alongside lighter fare including roasted vegetables, fresh fruits, and a selection of artisanal charcuterie. For those with dietary needs, we’ve included delicious vegan, gluten-free, and vegetarian options, ensuring everyone finds something to enjoy!
