DanceAbility is an adaptive ballet program, previously associated with Mareck Center for Dance. With the recent closing of Mareck, we are fortunate enough to remain in our same space on Orr Street and continue with the newly formed, Columbia Ballet Academy. For this semester we will maintain our non-profit status through the generous support of TRYPS (Theater Reaching Young People and Schools). We are in essence, starting over, and this makes our fundraising more important than ever!!!

DanceAbility allows all ages to explore the world of ballet in a safe and supportive environment. It is taught by experienced dance instructors and supported by volunteers with a variety of backgrounds, including special education teachers and therapists as well as young dancers or students interested in working with people with disabilities.

Local artists have generously donated and we hope you will join us on Friday, September 5th from 4:30-6:30 ( with a special DanceAbility performance at 5:15) at Logboat Brewing Company to view and bid online.

Items will be available for pick up at the Logboat the day of the event or at Columbia Ballet Academy.

This is DanceAbility's 11th year and we hope you can help us make this our most successful fundraiser yet!
