Hello Everyone!

Our mission is to identify the needs and concerns of the greater lifer population and community, to assist lifers in becoming suitable for parole and articulating that suitability to the Board of Parole Hearings. To educate the public and encourage dialogue between stakeholder groups on rehabilitation and reentry and to assist lifers and their families in understanding the parole system. We are the voice and presence of lifers in the community.

We have a lot of seminars scheduled or in the works. We are going to CSP-Sac, CMF, MCSP, Tehachapi, Donovan, Pelican Bay and working on a few others. As most of you know, we also send out correspondence courses, some we charge for, some we don't.

Here is the thing. Donations are WAY DOWN. We get it inflation and the economy is horrible. As you may or may not know, we do all of this as volunteers and work solely on donations and gifts. If we are going to be able to do all these in person workshops and continue what we do, we need more money. Every seminar requires packets to be copied, we mail, need stamps, travel fees, paper, envelopes, etc. We need your help to make this happen, we need your family, friends, and anyone and everyone you know to help to make things continue. It is just a fact.

Do you have friends, family, supporters that you can forward our request to? Any other ideas for us? We are considering an auction, a dinner, maybe some remote seminars, amongst other things. I am working on getting some grants but that could take 6-9 months to come through. We need help!We haver over 5,000 followers here. If everyone gave $5, that is $25,000 dollars, $10 is $50,000. I am not asking for a lot.
