Learn and Serve Tampa, Inc. represents a teacher-driven initiative to bring service opportunities to youth for meaningful community service in their communities. We envision a community where all youth can find opportunities to develop as servant leaders and learn the meaning of civic responsibility. We believe that youth gain knowledge and self-understanding while serving others. We empower youth service by offering opportunities to serve on three national Days of Service. 9/11 National Day of Service and Remembrance (see how we empowered 606 youth to serve here), Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service in January, and Global Youth Service Day in April/May.
